The world is on the cusp of a transformative journey, an energy transition that promises to shape our future and will redefine the way we generate, consume, and envision energy in the years to come. We still see great value in the raw materials that we need to generate clean energy and produce the batteries required to meet our net zero targets, but we believe the larger opportunity is in the new technologies that are being developed.
This short video offers an example of one of the most exciting new technologies being developed right now: Dynamic Inductive Charging.
Dynamic Inductive Charging is an advancement of the same technology that allows you to charge your phone without being plugged in – Dynamic Inductive Charging allows EV’s to charge while they’re in motion and this technology is already being tested on roads in Europe.
Toyota have recently invested over $800m in Dynamic Inductive Charging, and the large oil companies like Shell and Chevron have started investing in R&D to keep them ahead of the game as our need for petroleum phases out over the next decade or so.
This is just one example of the types of exciting technologies we will have exposure to in the Anadara Battery Transition Fund.
